Mailkick simplifies the process of creating email subscription forms, sending out newsletters and reviewing spam or bounce reports.
The library only deals with the process of building the subscription forms and initiating the email sending operations.
The actual email sending process is left to the local server or remote email and newsletter providers like: Sendgrid, Mailchimp or Mandrill.
Mailkick will only interact with them via their APIs and optionally get spam or bounce reports after the fact.
Mailkick basically only manages the subscribers database, by getting the emails from the subscription forms and adding them to one or more user lists.
It can also handle unsubscribing and resubscribing operations as well.
