ContentBuilder.js relies on jQuery and uses "blocks" as an editing unit.
Each section on the page is a block and depending on the block's type, various editing controls are provided.
These blocks can easily moved around using drag&drop, and new content blocks with preset can be added to the page from an on-screen sidebar.
This will help developers and non-technical users get started fairly easy, achieving the layout they want with just a few gestures.
ContentBuilder.js also includes the ability to duplicate existing content blocks, allowing developers to leverage existing layouts without reproducing previous steps.
The editor can be used on any site type, regardless of the backend technology, the package coming with examples in PHP and ASP.NET.
ContentBuilder.js is also available as a WordPress plugin as the WP Content Builder project, also under a commercial license.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
- jQuery
