PositionCalculator can be used to detect overlapping page elements or to support a collision detection system and avoid page elements from interact with each other.
The plugin is quite easy to setup and besides basic page elements it also supports events, meaning it can work with drag&drop actions, page scrolling, mouse clicks, and so on.
PositionCalculator returns the coordinates of an element, which can then be passed to other plugins or JS functions and create position-related interactions or page modifications.
The plugin can be a crucial part of your code if you decide to create some kind of UI elements that require accurate position calculations, something like modals, tooltips, popups, popovers, sticky elements, scroll-spy systems, etc..

What is new in this release:
- Set minimum required version of jQuery to >1.8. jQuery 1.7 has a bug together with CSS property "box-sizing: border-box" that is fixed with 1.8.
