Doctored.js allows developers to edit the content and structure of a XML file using a browser and Web-based technologies.
This approach, compared to the classic desktop editing experience is much faster and allows XML data to be edited right on the server, without having to download it, edit it locally, and upload it back online.
Doctored uses a combination of HTML 5 contentEditable and CSS pseudo-elements to create a nice looking WYSIWYG editor for XML data, which anyone can use.
Besides the editing interface a special library for validating the edited XML data is also included, working parallel to the editing interface, feature that avoids situations where the editing interface might get blocked due to XML data being validated.
A demo editor is included with the download package, complete with three themes and contextual menus for XML document properties and data attributes.
