Superstatic is a Node.js server based on Connect, allowing webmasters to host their static websites with a technology specifically created for this purpose.
Since it's based on Connect any other Connect middleware will work with it as well, and Superstatic also supports "services" - extensions for adding extra features and functionality.
Superstatic features a very simple configuration process, and allows developers to adapt it to specific usage scenarios by tweaking various of its settings.
The server can be deployed with any host:port combination you'd like, and supports activity logging, a custom assets directory, and a simple debugger.
Superstatic also supports custom error pages, SEO-friendly (clean) URLs, custom routes, a custom cache handler, and even 301 redirects.
