Using a configuration file, template files, and the way files and folders are organized on the user's filesystem, Ruhoh compiles these resources into static, classic HTML, JS, and CSS Web pages.

Everything is well organized and structured inside Ruhoh, the static site compiler taking content stored in folders as text files (styled via Markdown), assembling them using Mustache templates, and rendering them as HTML files.

These can then be hosted on a Web server and delivered to inquiring users, serving as a regular HTML site.

Ruhoh can be used for regular static sites or for full-on blogs, additionally coming packed with a working server, for easily deploying the site right after (re)-compilation.

Ruhoh can be controlled via a daemon or the Ruby CLI, and can also be integrated with Git repositories for a more organized file hosting and versioning process.
