pure.rating

pure.rating turns a simple dropdown select element into a star rating widget.

Settings like an initial rating and the ability to reset the given vote via a special button are included with the plugin as well.

pure.rating is easy to deploy and can be customized via CSS code.

For the stars, pure.rating uses a PNG image sprite.

A demo is included with the download package.

Requirements:

• JavaScript enabled on client side
• jQuery 1.3.2 or higher

Limitations:

• Does not remember ratings between page reloads. This script is just the mechanism to produce the rating widget UI.
