Apache2::ModProxyPerlHtml

Apache2::ModProxyPerlHtml is a mod_perl2 replacement of the Apache2 module mod_proxy_html.c, used to rewrite HTML/Javascript links for a reverse proxy.

Apache2::ModProxyPerlHtml is very simple and has much better parsing/replacement of URL than the C code. It also support refresh meta tag rewriting.

Installation:

perl Makefile.PL
make && make install

Apache2::ModProxyPerlHtml is still under development and is sure to contain a few bugs. Please send me email to submit bug reports.

What is new in this release:

• Fix corruption of openxml MS Office document (docx, dotx, potx, ppsx, pptx, xlsx and xltx). Thanks to Stefano Colanzi for the report.
• Add new directive ProxyHTMLExcludeContentType with default value to regex: (application\/vnd\.openxml) to fix the previous issue and let users customize the content-type exclusion regex.

What is new in version 3.0:

• This version adds full support for HTTP refresh header redirection.
• It has a dedicated Web site now.

What is new in version 2.6:

• This release just fixes the handling of the content type for JavaScript.

What is new in version 2.5:

• This release fixes the replacement of the URL value set to the JavaScript method jsObject.src.
• The detection of JavaScript documents in the content-type HTTP header was also fixed.
