The word "Logs" in Fast Logs might make someone think the script is related to the operation of "logging" - recording actions inside an application for later debugging. But it's not. It's a generic term for an entry which in term can be used to define news stories, blog entries, press releases, notification messages, alerts, warnings and so on.
The Fast Logs platform is basically a very simple system that allows editors to create, manage and list text-based items using PHP and local flat-file engine.
Data is stored locally inside simple text files and is pulled and displayed in the frontend in the form of a widget, listing all the entries using a simple pagination system.
Fast Logs is extremely easy to install and includes an administration panel where all the "logs" can be entered and managed using a WYSIWYG editor.
Features:
- Documentation
- Password-protected admin panel
- Embed the Fast Logs widget anywhere
- TinyMCE WYSIWYG editing
- Hide/show entries as needed
- Paginate longer entry lists
- Customize position of the pagination buttons
- CSS skinnable
What is new in this release:
- Updated with the latest version of TinyMCE v3.5.10, which fixes a few compatibility issues in IE11.
