You can now turn your useless touchpad into a convenient numpad using DigiPad. This tiny application divides the surface of your touchpad in 9 areas which react to your finger taps, and display the corresponding digits under any application. The left button will display the zero key, while the right button will show the decimal separator.
It works excusively with Synaptics touchpads, and requires its drivers to be installed.
Programed in Visual Basic 2010 : requires .NET4 Framework.
This program is a time-saver : you will no longer have to buy an external device to use a numeric pad, nor to check if your keyboard is in upper or lower case before typing any amount.
