Coefficient of Congruence

This program calculates the coefficient of congruence for comparing factor solutions from different studies or different samples. It is typically used to determine the factorial invariance of solutions across samples or studies. "The congruence coefficient (rc) is an index of factor similarity. Like the Pearson correlation coefficient (r), it is scaled to range from -1 to 0 to +1. A value of rc of +.90 is considered a high degree of factor similarity; a value greater than +.95 is generally interpreted as practical identify of the factors" (Jensen, 1998, p. 99).
