Little Wing is a lightweight jQuery plugin for creating fullscreen, background image slideshows, ideal for showcasing high-resolution imagery, or for rotating background images without the user noticing it.
The plugin can optionally show next/previous arrow buttons in the top right corner of the screen, buttons used to switch from one image to the other.
Other customizable settings include the transition duration from one image to the next, the presence of a preloader, if to loop images, and for what amount of time to show each image.
Setting a high value for this last options ensures users won't notice the background slideshow almost at all, but a lower value is recommended if using Little Wing with landing pages or product showcases, rotating more photos in a smaller amount of time.
The current Web Design trends put a high value on high-resolution images, and for sure this plugin can be a real useful tool to have around if you want to create modern & appealing websites.
To show developers how Little Wing can be used, a demo is also included with the download package.
