SAWU104 is the generic editor for non rectilinear weaving constructions like sprang, netting, braiding, interlacing, knitting, tricot etc. It can also be used for knot diagrams.
It is powerful enough to model complex weaving patterns and provide the functionality to visualise the underlying structure of the textiles. The output of our editor is not meant to replace photographic images, which document a textile's surface, but give a view into the internal structure, which, for example, helps in understanding the techniques applied in weaving a fabric. Its original use is to document museum pieces. This editor is capable to represent all the weaveable patterns and more. In other terms, you have to check if the patterns drawn can be physically created (endless loops of threads spring to mind here).

Requirements:
Runs with both Intel and PPC processors but the files written are not inter-compatible (big endian - small endian problem)
