ForumFive is a bare-bones PHP forum script that uses an SQLite database to store its content.
The interface is very minimal and the entire forum is contained in three files (2 PHP & 1 JS).
Accessing the forum for the first time installs it on your server, so make sure to edit the forum.php file before running it.
ForumFive features a user login®istration system, Persona-based user authentication, IP logging, DNS blacklist checking, error logging, and request rate limiting to prevent outages and floods.
It also features a very minimal UI, automatic embedding of YouTube and Vimeo videos, user profiles, topic moderation, and all quick replies/topics posting.
Overall the ForumFive forum is a very simple tool, just the perfect fit when you just want to have a private talk with close friends and not run a support system for your clients.
Limitations:
- Can be installed only in the root directory of a site or subdomain.
