OpenEMM

OpenEMM is a feature-rich, industrial-strength enterprise software specially designed as an e-mail marketing solution. It is the first open source application for e-mail marketing.

The OpenEMM project offers more than 90% of the functionality of other similar, but commercial, products.

What is new in this release:

• This is the biggest release yet: it offers many new and valuable features like a new extension architecture for plugins, default actions for mail opening and link clicks, context-sensitive online help, user-defined columns for the recipient list, a new Web service API with 42 method calls, a multi-mailqueue backend to boost mail output, and many other enhancements and improvements.

What is new in version 5.5.1:

• This version fixes all known bugs and offers a feature to automatically remove old bounce information from the OpenEMM database to keep the database small (see install guide 5.5.1 for details).
• Furthermore, the fields "gender" and "mailtype" are no longer mandatory for imports.
