What is new in this release:

Version 2016.03:

• Added an option to change how completed events are displayed - faded, strikethrough, or normal. This setting can be found in the Appearance Options.
• Added an option to shade dates that are outside the printed month when using the Monthly layout style.
• Added the ability to specify an image URL for day backgrounds.
• Improved performance when sharing calendars through MySQL Server. The user interface will continue to be responsive while syncing is in progress.
• Improved the display of notes in the Month View to wrap text. This can be toggled on or off via the Settings button in the upper-right corner of the Month View.
• Improved the appearance of desktop alerts and updated the desktop alert menu to show larger (touch-friendly) icons that are visually consistent with other icons in VueMinder.
• Improved the date range drop-down list to include a "This week" option. This new option will be available when printing, searching, and viewing lists of items.
• Improved the "Today" button shown in the Go menu and in the upper-right corner of the Day, Week, Month, Year, and Timeline views. The button's icon will show the current date.
• Improved the Day and Week views to highlight the current date. A different color border will be displayed around the current date's timeslots. The date header will also be shown in a different color.
• Translated into Latvian and Urdu.

• Translated into Korean.
• Corrected syncing with Google Contacts to authenticate using OAuth2.0 instead of a username and password. The username and password technique is no longer supported by Google. Syncing with Google Contacts will not work when using version 11.2.8 or earlier.
• Corrected syncing with Google Calendar when multiple events are intentionally defined on Google Calendar with the same title, date, and time. VueMinder would only show one of the events.
• Corrected syncing all-day recurring events with Google Calendar. In some cases, such as when all-day events are imported from Excel or CSV files, the events would appear to span 2 days when viewed on the Google Calendar webpage.
• Corrected to not crash when the Windows On-Screen Keyboard is displayed.
• Corrected the Timeline View to not shift the left-most column when a different event is selected, if the selected event is already visible within the date range of the Timeline View.
• Corrected occurrence numbering when the first instance of a recurring series is moved before the original series start date. In that case, the displayed occurrence number for the second occurrence would be #1 instead of #2.
• Corrected importing recurring events from Excel and CSV files when the events have future occurrences, but originally started prior to the specified cutoff for older events. The recurring events would be excluded from the import.
• Corrected sending SMS reminders to other recipients to use the maximum number of characters specified in the SMS Settings. In some cases, depending on the mobile carrier of other recipients, truncated reminders would be sent containing fewer characters than specified in the SMS Settings.
• Corrected the Translation Editor to allow editing the translated language name. This name appears in the Language menu.
• Other minor corrections and improvements.

What is new in version 11.0.3:

• Added the ability to send meeting request reminders. This feature can be enabled by checking the "Send as a meeting request" box when configuring an email reminder for an event or task. It can also be enabled as a default.
• Added the ability to schedule reminders (email, SMS, and voice phone) to be sent after an event ends or a task is due, if the event or task isn't marked as completed before the scheduled reminder time.
• Corrected a problem with VueMinder sometimes not temporarily waking computers from sleep mode to send email, SMS, or voice phone reminders when scheduled.
• Corrected exporting recurring events to ICS files. When importing into other calendar programs, modified occurrences wouldn't import properly and recurring events would sometimes appear on the wrong dates.
• Corrected an "Index out of range" error that could sometimes appear when importing or subscribing to ICS files.
• Corrected processing Weather Underground ICS calendar subscriptions. These subscriptions stopped working in version 11.0.0.
• Corrected the vertical scroll bar in the Month view to scroll the same number of weeks that are currently displayed, instead of always scrolling by 5 weeks and causing some weeks to be skipped.
• Other minor corrections and improvements.
