OpenGL VI: Rendering on DIBs with PFD_DRAW_TO_BITMAP. The PFD_DRAW_TO_BITMAP pixel format descriptor flag allows OpenGL applications to render on a Microsoft Windows device-independent bitmap (DIB). The resulting DIB can be manipulated to the full extent using the commands in the Windows graphics device interface (GDI).
