Escape Velocity: Override

EV: Override is Ambrosia's follow-up to the classic space adventure game, Escape Velocity. You are cast as a pioneering space captain with only a small shuttle craft, a bit of money, and a sense of adventure. Make money running cargo across the universe in order to buy a better spacecraft, or undertake dangerous rescue missions on enemy worlds. Override features a universe five times the size of the original game and a slew of populated worlds within. The game takes advantage of an improved Escape Velocity engine for better gameplay, and it has enhanced flexibility for scenario developers. Additionally, it contains new graphics and sound, more than 250 new missions, and a multitude of human and alien governments.
