If you're like me, you've got hundreds (thousands?) of digital baby photos and it's getting hard to navigate them by thumbnail alone. It would be useful if additionally, all your baby photos had meaningful filenames. Like 20090412_easter_Julie_5months.jpg. BabyPhotoRenamer makes this easy. It is a bulk file renaming utility that will put your baby's age at the time the photo was taken (e.g. "6_days", "3_weeks","15_months", "3_years") part of the filename based on the EXIF information about when the photo was taken. It has a flexible output filename format where you can add any combination of one or more of the date, an event name, your baby's name, the original filename, and a numerical index to make the filename unique.
