django-payments is a Python library suitable for handling online payments.
The library uses third-party services to transfer the money from one account to another and its code is only a generic system for handling common operations.
Third-party payment gateways are supported as "backends", and django-payments will allow developers to use multiple backends with the same app and provide users with multiple options for transferring their money.
This indirectly means you'll have to write the source code for handling the billing operations only once, and simply load or unload the desired backends accordingly.
Supported payment gateways:
- Authorize.Net
- Braintree (Python 2 only)
- Cybersource
- Dotpay
- Google Wallet
- PayPal
- Sage Pay
- Stripe
On top of these, there's also a dummy backend, suitable for running tests and debugging various issues.
django-payments works with both versions of the Python language, 2.x and 3.x.
What is new in this release:
- The release that fixes Authorize.net, DotPay and Wallet and improves Windows support.
Requirements:
- Python 2.7 or higher
- Django
