SafEEditor by Capaho Web is a barebones plain text editor with integrated HTML viewer for use in editing Perl and other CGI scripts as well as web pages. It saves files in plain text only with Unix line termination, keeping them safe for use with various interpreters and compilers that are prone to complaining and halting when they encounter other types of line termination or styled text in scripts or other source code. In addition to Unix line termination, UTF-8 character encoding is the default character encoding method used by SafEEditor, making it possible for non-ASCII compatible text to be safely contained within an ASCII compatible format. If you open a file using an alternate character encoding method you will be given the option of saving the file with its original character encoding or converting it to UTF-8 when saving.

SafEEditor by Capaho Web may be freely distributed in its original, unaltered state. It is provided free of charge as-is without any warranty or support of any kind. It may not be offered for sale or re-sale nor bundled with other software that is offered for sale.
