MailPoet Newsletters is a self-hosted email campaign manager that developers can use from their own WP platform, with no connection to email campaign sites like AWeber or MailChimp.
Webmasters can add a newsletter subscribe form on their site via the provided sidebar widget, manage subscribed users, subscribers lists, and the newsletter templates which are used to send out the data.
A visual email template desginer is included with the MailPoet plugin, letting users create and customize each newsletter.
Templates designed with this tool are cross-device and cross-browser consistent, and are also easy to customize at any later stage.
Emails are sent from the local WordPress emailing system or webmasters can opt to use a remote SMTP server instead.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
MailPoet Newsletters was formerly known as Wysija Newsletters.
