Qutepart is an open source graphical software written in Python and designed to act as a code editor component for Pyside and PyQt. It was specifically created for the Enki text editor, in order to replace the QScintilla requirement.
Qutepart features syntax highlighting for 196 languages, smart indentation for several languages, line numbers, bookmarks, advanced text editing operations, matching braces highlighting, and autocompletion based on document content.
Moreover, Qutepart is able to mark too long lines with a red line, and provides rectangular copy/paste and selection functionality.
Being written in Python, Qutepart is a platform-independent application that runs on Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.
