MDwiki was created to work in such a manner that at no time or in no situation would the wiki platform ever need to dynamically retrieve information stored on a remote Web server.
Everything is neatly packed in an HTML file, formatted using Markdown syntax, and styled using the now famous Bootstrap frontend UI framework.
There's no need to install anything on the server host, but only the HTML file and adjacent resources to deliver the site to clients.
The wiki's content is stored in Markdown .md files and is loaded dynamically whenever a page with the same name as the file is requested.
So basically if you put the time to create the wiki layout template and the Markdown files, that's about all the work you'll need to do to have an MDwiki installation up and running.
