DesktopSense automatically change wallpaper, animated wallpaper and the new Vista Ultimate animated wallpaper format. Screensavers, Screensaver Settings and System Sounds can also be automatically changed. Activation criteria for static, animated wallpapers and screensavers is month, day and time. For System sounds the activation criteria is day and time. These advanced settings allow DesktopSense to intelligently manage your desktop and display pictures that fit with the time of day, day of week or month of year. An example of this is to only have pictures of sunsets displayed between 17h00 and 19h00. An example of using the System Sounds scheduler will be to set different system sounds for different times of the day so you do not have to hear "Have You Read Your Mail This Morning" in the afternoon and it can even be set to return to the default sound later during the evening. Also set wallpapers & screensavers for special occasions like anniversaries, etc. to remind you when needed.
