PPP Tray Icon is a tray icon interface to pon/poff commands. PPP Tray Icon monitors the presence of the /var/run/ppp*.pid file to check for existing ppp connections.
If the file is found, so that a ppp connection is active, the icon shown in the tray is the gtk.STOCK_CONNECT, clicking on the icon closes the connection (by invoking the "poff -a" command), right clicking on it opens a popup menu with the Disconnect (poff -a), Refresh (poff -r), Preferences (opens the configuration dialog), About and Quit entries.
A tooltip shows the connection time. When no ppp connection is active, clicking on the icon activates the default connection (pon "default"), right clicking on it opens a popup menu with the available connections and the above mentioned Preferences, About and Quit entries.
