It's basically Instagram applied to a webcam feed in real-time.
Funky.js works solely via the user's browser, no Flash, no client-side plugins.
If the built-in effects don't satisfy your needs, the author has also included basic instructions on how to create your own. Just check the README file.
An example page is also included with the Funky.js package.
