SmartSVN

SmartSVN is a commercial, freely distributed and multiplatform graphical application that has been designed from the ground up to act as a Subversion (SVN) client. The project follows the same philosophy as SmartCVS, as it provides all required features out-of-the-box, wrapped in a slick and easy-to-use user interface.

Under the hood and supported operating systems

SmartSVN is a platform-independent application written entirely in the Java programming language. Of course, this means that it supports any operating system where the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is available, including all GNU/Linux distributions, as well as the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. Both 32-bit and 64-bit hardware architectures are supported at this time.

Availability and pricing

At the moment, the project is distributed in two editions, SmartSVN and SmartSVN Professional. As expected, the SmartSVN Professional edition includes more features than the standard SmartSVN edition.

While SmartSVN is available for download for free, pricing for SmartSVN Professional starts from 69 USD (56 EUR) per user. If you want to try before buying the SmartSVN Professional edition, you can always get 30-day free trial from the official website.
