QtitanRibbon

QtitanRibbon is a commercial and cross-platform software that has been engineered to implement the Microsoft Ribbon UI Paradigm to the Qt application and UI framework. If you want to build platform-independent applications that work on any platform, and use the Ribbon UI specifications, then QtitanRibbon is the software you want to use from now on.

Features at a glance

Key features include support for the themes of Microsoft Office 2008, Microsoft Office 2010 and Microsoft Office 2013 with Black, Blue, White and Gray palettes, as well as support for mainstream operating systems and hardware platforms.

Numerous Ribbon UI elements are implemented in QtitanRibbon, among which we can mention Ribbon Bar, Ribbon Groups, Ribbon Tabs, Applicaton Menu, Application Button, Toggle Button Control, Backstage View, Contextual Tabs, Quick Access Bar, Button Group Control, Drop-Down Button Control, Text Box Control, and Gallery Control.

In addition the Button Control, Calendar Control Planned, Check Box Control, Combo Box Control, Key Tip Control, Masked Text Control Planned, Numeric Up-Down Control, Panel Control, Screen Tip Control, Scroll Bars Control, Separator Control, Slider Control, Status Bar Control, and Tab Control Control Ribbon UI elements are also implemented.

Supported operating systems

At the moment, the QtitanRibbon software has been successfully tested with many GNU/Linux distributions, as well as with the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. It appears that only 32-bit instruction set architectures are supported at this time, at least by the 30-day free trial version.

Availability and pricing

The QtitanRibbon application is distributed on Softoware (you can also downloaded it from its official website) as an archive compressed with the zip method, which contains pre-built binaries and C++ headers for the Qt 5.x GUI toolkit, original built by Digia.

Please note that this is a demo version, supported for 30 days only. To get the full version, you should purchase a license from the official website (see link below). Pricing starts from 519 USD (410 EUR) for a single license, which includes the app’s source code.
