jsGrid works on regular HTML tables, but improves them using additional controls added on top.
These controls can help users with sorting the data, filtering large data sets, adding, editing, or deleting rows, and also by paginating rows across multiple views.
The plugin also comes with support for different data types, allowing specialized columns to be create that support a specific set of data (text, numeric, select lists, checkboxes, radio buttons, etc.).
jsGrid can also fetch information from a wide range of sources, like local JSON files, remote REST servers, or static arrays.
Data grids can also be loaded and paginated via AJAX, reducing page load times by only loading the table and its data only when needed.
The plugin can be really useful when developing dashboards and backends for various applications, allowing easy display of complex tabular data.
Documentation and self-explanatory examples are included with the standard jsGrid package.
