Concise.css is a new breed of frontend frameworks developed by designers that have worked with enough other CSS frameworks to identify common problems in their design and code organization.

This framework aims to provide an easy to use toolkit for building HTML pages, but following community best practices.

Concise's code is very well organized, uses easy to learn class names, and can be used with both fixed and responsive page layouts.

The framework also follows OOCSS design principles, allowing developers to build modular components that can be used on big sites with hundreds of page layouts, templates, and widgets.

Concise.css was coded in Stylus, SASS (SCSS) and LESS and compiled to standard CSS. The framework also uses normalize.css and works well with JavaScript libraries like Modernizr, Respond.js, and Selectivizr.

Lots of components are included in the base Concise distribution, components ranging from basic typography and form styles up to complex navbars and progress bars.
