Font Detect

Font Detect works by using Flash to query the user's local environment and get a list of all fonts.

These fonts are then listed alphabetically one under each other, using a sample text, letting the user preview them all on the same page.

There's a special utility also included with Font Detect, which will let the user preview his own text sample, using only his selected fonts, and at his desired text size.

All the font listing, formatting, and customization operations are handled via JavaScript. For the JavaScript part of the widget, Font Detect can work with jQuery or the Prototype frameworks.
