HTMLHint provides a simpler way to validate your HTML code without having to use the W3C website or any other Web service to do so.
This small toolkit lets developers check their HTML code against various types of validation rules, rules which can be turned on or off with the help of a local configuration file.
This helps developers implement custom code validation rulesets, each different and usable for individual projects and separate requirements.
There are three ways in which HTMLHint can be used:
- from the Node.js CLI
- by including it in your code as a regular <script>
- via a specialized Web interface
While the easiest way is to write your code and copy-paste it inside the Web interface, the command-line tool is as easier to use if you've worked with Node.js before.
