The project is ideal for users who want to explore different Live GNU/Linux operating systems without installing them on their computers. It is also used to create projects like Linux AIO Ubuntu, Linux AIO Fedora, Linux AIO Debian, 4MLinux Multiboot Edition or 4MRescueKit.

Distributed as a Live CD or a source package

MultiSystem is an unique software that is currently distributed as a Live CD ISO image that lets users to use the software from a live USB/CD without installing anything on their computers. It is also available for download as a source package that needs to be compiled prior to installing it.

The MultiSystem Live CD is available in the English and French languages, bootable on computers supporting either of the 32-bit or 64-bit CPU architectures. From the boot prompt, the user can change the language using the F2 key, start the live system with normal settings or in safe graphics mode, boot an existing OS, run a memory test, or check the bootable medium for defects (only if booting from the CD).
