XanaNews is a free, powerful, fully featured newsreader which has support for Multiple News (NNTP) servers. The multiple threaded engine can supports three threads per news server so you can simultaneously download group lists, message headers and messages for multiple servers.
You can also display messages in thread or chronological order as well as sort threads by date, size, author or subject. XanaNews displays NNTP and MIME images inline, building them up as they arrive and allows you to save images and other binary attachments.
There's also an intelligent resume/cancel button which when red, allows you to cance the selected operation and when it's green, enables you to resume reading after network failures.
