Pioneers

Pioneers project is an open source graphical software written in GTK+ and designed as a clone of the "Settlers of Catan" board game, which can be played over the internet.

Pioneers follows the rules of the Settlers of Catan award winning game, created by Klaus Teuber, as closely as possible.

Users are able to play the game with up to 8 players over the Internet. Pioneers includes an AI, server-client multiplayer, support for the Seafarers of Catan expansion, as well as the default boards of the Settlers of Catan game.

What is new in this release:

• This version adds full IPv6 support, more graphics in vector format instead of bitmaps (resulting in sharper images), a map preview when creating a game from the client, a toolbar in the editor, a dice deck (instead of rolling the dice completely randomly), a computer player which uses more various chat messages, a server for the Microsoft Windows port, and code cleanup, including fixed memory leaks.

What is new in version 15.1:
