Yellow can be used to create anything from a one-page site to quite complex blogs and wikis.
The system can easily adapt to anything you want, relying on a local file & folder hierarchy to manage the site's structure.
PHP templates are used to control each of the page layouts, while the content is stored separately as Markdown-formatted text and injected in the page at runtime.
Yellow can be managed using a CLI or Web interface, and also supports basic user accounts and frontend themes.
For further functionality developers can install Yellow extensions to support extra features like custom user permissions, drafts, source code syntax highlighting, Google Maps embeds, Font Awesome icons, Disqus comments, SlideShare presentations, Soundcloud music, Vimeo.
