Sculpin

Sculpin works just like DocPad, Jekyll or Phrozn.

It reads template files, reads content files stored in a different location, and then it merges them together in static HTML files, ready to be served to users at any time.

For the template engine Sculpin uses Twig, while for the content files, data can be stored in either Textile, Markdown, or HTML format.

Because of this, Sculpin is ideal for smaller Web projects, where data is not updated on a regular basis, and developers might prefer adding content via a desktop text editor rather than messing around with Web-based rich text editors (RTEs).

Besides static website structures, Sculpin can also put blogs together as well.

Support for Composer and Symfony bundles is also included.
