Roots is a collection of utilities to make developing Web apps a much more easier task with Node.js.
It was developed for, and targets the Node.js command line only.
Its main purpose is to gather a series of open source utilities, along with some of its own tools, all under one big umbrella project so they can easily be installed and deployed to help programmers code and test their projects in a much smoother and faster process.
Some might categorize Roots as a build tool, but Roots is much more than that. A complete and unique "development process & philosophy" for the Node.js platform.
