RavenNuke

RavenNuke continues the work started (and stopped) on PHP-Nuke by providing webmasters with a full-on PHP CMS that can be used as a portal for your friends.

This small PHP community manager lets developers deploy a CMS targeting the act of building and entertaining a Web community by providing them with a way to register on the site, publish news, post on a forum, exchange messages and view each others profile pages.

Graphically you might think the CMS is greatly out-dated for today's Web design standards, but there's a lot of functionality packed with the script and you can also design your own frontend themes to update its look anytime you want.

RavenNuke can also be extended via modules, and in case you're having troubles installing it, there's an installation wizard provided along with lots of documentation to go with it.

The most known of them is NukeSentinel, an add-on which you must use, mainly because it will bolster your site's security levels and protect you from intrusive users.

RavenNuke also features a newsletter module, a built-in search tool, database maintenance utilities, WYSIWYG editing, feed syndication, a downloads center, an archive for older content, and many other more.
