Social-Sharing-Numbers

Social-Sharing-Numbers taps into different social media APIs and searches for a link on those networks.

It then retrieves the result and embeds it inside a toolbar, right next to the social network's favicon, letting users know how many times the link has been shared until now.

Supported networks:
Facebook
Twitter
Google+
Pinterest
LinkedIn

Most of the counters work via JavaScript, except for the Google+ counter which also comes with a PHP file.

A sample page demonstrating how you can use the plugin is included with the Social-Sharing-Numbers package.
