Rocketbin is a simple way of adding code snippets or raw text inside a textbox and saving it on a server somewhere online.
The concept is not simple and it mimics the services provided by the Pastebin website.
Rocketbin works practically the same way, only it runs on Python, is open sourced, and you can easily modify and expand it yourself to whatever suits your purposes.
Once a link has been shared and saved, an unique URL is generated which can be used at latter points to re-access the snippet.
This link can be shared with friends and other members of your team, providing a page where the text/code can be viewed in a raw form and a formatted fashion (with syntax highlighting).
Supported syntax highlighting languages:
- HTML
- CSS
- Sass
- Less
- JavaScript
- CoffeeScript
- Python
- Ruby
- PHP
Installation instructions are provided with the package's README file.
