VDrift is an open source and cross-platform video game driving that offers a powerful driving simulation system designed with drift racing in mind.
The VDrift project is powered by the excellent Vamos physics engine and it aims to be a realistic racing game, where players can drift race powerful cars on beautiful road courses.
Among its highlights, we can mention multiple tracks (Nurburgring, Road Atlanta, Catalunya, etc.), numerous cars (Mustang, Carrera, S2000, etc.), very realistic physics, basic foliage scenery system, elevated tracks, heightmapped terrain, several different camera modes, basic replay system, day and night weather cycle, fully customizable controls, joystick and keyboard input filtering, and brake lights.
VDrift is a platform-independent game that supports Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.
