SimpleStore was built using the Skeleton CSS framework and the simpleCart(js) JavaScript-based client-side shopping cart solution.
There's no backend with SimpleStore. Developers only have to edit a few HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files. Because of this, the store moves very fast, and should fare pretty well in environments where SEO is important, but will falter when it needs to manage huge product bases.
Additionally, SimpleStore also includes automatic tax rate calculations, unlimited product attributes, multiple built-in shipping methods, support for multiple currencies and various payment gateways (PayPal, Google Checkout, and Amazon Payments).
On the user's side, a shopping cart widget will help users review their shopping list, and guide them through the checkout process.
A fully working demo is included with the default SimpleStore package.
