spamIP

spamIP can be installed on any PHP-based website or Web service to prevent it from being flooded with spam bots.

spamIP uses a MySQL databases to store information about visitors and IPs marked as spammers (via the Stopforumspam.com service), and also store an IP-to-country database to block entire countries at once (via GeoIP).

The library can be attached to a cron job and automatically download timely updates, keeping its database up to date with the latest added IPs.

Using spamIP with an application requires just one line of code, added to a page's header:
