RainbruRPG

RainbruRPG is an open source and free 3D video game written in C++ and Ruby, based on an Object Oriented design. It works well on Linux and FreeBSD operating systems.

It uses the OpenGL and OGRE (O-O Graphics Rendering Engine) hardware accelerated 3D engines to provide a multiplayer Role Playing Game (RPG) project.

RainbruRPG aims to provides a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) game, but at the moment of writing this it is not fully playable.

This is a truly open-source game that has been designed to be installed before it can be played. Users are free to download, study, and contribute to this game.

What is new in this release:

• This sources-only minor release makes the client fully integrate Ogre3d, OIS and CEGUI to get a fully working GUI.

What is new in version 0.0.5-246:

• This sources-only minor release makes the old client obsolete. It will be replaced by the client/subproject in future releases.
• It also makes the services library start to compute dependencies load order using a Directed Acyclic Graph.
