RateYo!

RateYo! upgrades the classic star rating widgets to use a modern resolution-free SVG graphics package.

Instead of using a complex GIF or PNG star-based graphics package with multiple images or just a huge and hard to customize image sprite, RateYo! uses vector-based SVG graphics that you can deploy to desktop and mobile environments without having to worry about their rendering quality.

There's support for lots of cool features, starting from a fine grained hovering and voting mechanism that supports decimal based votes and up to average votes calculation.

There's also support for customizable star colors, multiple voting widgets on the same page, and even widgets with different number of stars.

Developers can also pass an initial value to the star rating widget at page load, and also setup min and max values as well.

RateYo! is better used when integrated within plugins & components, and used with a server-side backend for storing the users' votes in a database or flat-file.

A demo is included with the download package, and the plugin should work with all modern browsers.
