The Questionnaire jQuery plugin comes with an example illustrating how fairly complex polls can be built.

Each of the question depends on the previous question's answer, and if one of the answers doesn't fit the desired segment of results the developer can end the poll at any time he doesn't see the respondent as useful to his inquiry.

There's no limit on how many questions or steps the plugin can hold.
