British Bingo is an open source, multiplatform, easy-to-use, user-friendly and free browser-based British bingo game that can simulate over 10,000 players and supports 3 by 9 boards.

Features at a glance

Key features include the ability to let players choose how fast the caller reads out the numbers, choose how much the players chat, change the size of the game to fit on a small screen, and hear the players and caller talk. With British bingo, users will be able to play the game online via the bbingo.net76.net or bbingo.eu.pn websites.

At a glance, you will be able to enable or disable various options, such as player’s chat, shadows, round corners, fade colors, reverse boards, as well as the ability to view all balls. Click the Settings button to access a wide range of options that allow you to tweak the game even further.

Under the hood and supported OSes

The software is written in JavaScript dynamic computer programming language and HyperText Markup Language (HTML), which makes it platform-independent, supported on any GNU/Linux, BSD, Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows operating systems. Both 32-bit and 64-bit hardware architectures have been tested.

Getting started with British Bingo

Users can download the project either as a zip of gz archive, which contain a single HTML file that you can double click to open it with your default web browser. The rules are simple, click on a number on your board when it is called, click a line when

When a row of numbers has been called, you must click a ‘line’ and when all the numbers on your board have been called, you can click ‘house’. Additionally, you can unmark a number by click on it again, as well as to right-click on it to view if it has been called.

  • This version adjusts the layout for an iPad.
  • You can now find out if you are playing for a "line" or a "house" by clicking on squares without numbers on your board.

  • On Internet Explorer 11, the buttons to increase or decrease the numbers are now shown.
  • The animation which draws many copies of the game now reflects the value of the "overall size" in the settings.
