jQuery Calendars works by storing information about various calendar formats, like the number of months in an year, the months' names, the number of weeks in a year, the number of days in a month, and so on.
All this information allows developers to use the plugin to convert a date in one calendar format to its homologue in another calendar type.
This allows them to easily localize their applications and use dates specific to various geographical areas and their respective cultures.
jQuery Calendars can even handle various operations like adding time periods to a date and retrieving the accurate date in the desired calendar, but is more useful when integrated with date pickers, allowing them to work in i18n formats.
